Customizing the Sequencing of Learning Plan Training Items

You can customize the sequencing of all or some of the training items mapped to Learning Plans. You can customize the sequencing of both required and optional items. On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click next to Advanced Learning.
  2. Click Learning Plans.
  3. Click to expand the Filters section and search for the Learning Plan you want.
  4. Rest your pointer on the Learning Plan, and then click to edit the Learning Plan.
  5. Click the Mappings tab.
  6. Scroll down if necessary to view the Custom Order Sequencing section.
  7. Click the Enforce Sequencing check box to set enforced Learning Plan sequencing as the default setting for all new Learning Plans.
    or
    Clear the check box if you want to make Learning Plan sequencing optional.
If you make sequencing optional, Users will see hyperlinks to all items they have not yet completed in their Learning Plans. If you enforce sequencing, Users will only see the hyperlink to the next item in their Learning Plan.
  1. Select Custom Order for Sequence By. Additional fields display.

  1. Select a training item in the Unsequenced Training box.
  2. Click Add to move the item to the Sequenced Training box.
  3. Repeat these steps until you have moved all items you want to sequence to the Sequenced Training box.
    or
    Click to move all items in the Unsequenced Training box to the Sequenced Training box.
  4. Select a training item in the Sequenced Training box, and click or to change the position of the item in the sequenced list.
  5. Repeat the above step until the sequenced training items are listed in the order you want.
  6. Click Refresh Sequencing to refresh the preview of the sequence in the Learning Plan Mapped Items section.

    Click Save.
