Access Filters

Access filters are similar to the concept of Group Display Filters in the Classic WYSIWYG Page Editor. Unlike Group Display Filters, Access filters are centralized on a single management page, which streamlines the process of updating your LearnCenter. When you make changes to an Access Filter on this page, the changes are reflected in each instance of that filter in your LearnCenter. Access Filters can be applied to anything you can put on a page or page template, whether that is a graphic, text, a link, a whole section, or a single character. You can add Access Filters in both LearnCenter Designer Templates and Pages.

Adding an Access Filter

In either a template or a single page opened in edit mode:

Click Access Filter.

Select an option for Visibility:

Visible to Everyone - this is the default setting for everything until you apply an access filter.
Show to the selected groups - indicates that the selected content is only visible to the groups you select. If you select this item, type the Group names in the Select Groups box.
Hide from the selected groups - indicates you want the selected content to be hidden from the groups you select. If you select this item, type the Group names in the Select Groups box.

Select the Include Sub-Groups check box to indicate that you want to apply this filter to the any sub Group you specifically named in the Select Groups box.
