Enabling Virtual ILT and Integrating with a VILT Provider

Before you can host or add a Virtual ILT (VILT) session, you must enable VILT for your LearnCenter and enter the credentials given to you by your VILT provider. Depending on the VILT provider, you may also be required to add at least one Host account before you can save your credentials in LearnCenter.

NOTE: Previously supported VILT vendors may still appear in the Add Service menu of the VILT Sessions page, but will be removed in a future release. Only the supported vendors named above should be selected from the Add Service menu.

On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click  on the Virtual ILT menu to expand it.
  2. Click Settings.
  1. Click Add Service.
  2. Select the VILT Provider you want to add. A new tab is added to the page containing blank fields in which you can add the account credentials given to you by that provided.
  3. Type the appropriate information in the Site Information section. You should have obtained this information from your VILT provider or the Site Administrator within your organization.
  4. Select the Enrollment Administrator Meeting Role from the drop-down list. This is the default role assigned to all Administrators added to VILT Events that are added using this provider. The items in the drop-down list vary depending on which provider you are setting up.
If you do not select a default role when setting up a service, the default role of “presenter” is used instead. If you select None, Enrollment Administrators are not associated to any type of meeting role for the VILT event.
If you change the selection in the Enrollment Administrator Meeting Role drop-down list once this provider has been configured, existing roles of Administrators already associated to VILT Enrollments for this service type are not modified.
  1. Click the Enable this Service check box to enable the service in LearnCenter.
  2. Add a Host Account. You must add at least one Host Account when you set up the provider in LearnCenter for the first time. Subsequent Admins who visit this page will be able to see the Site Information, but not your Host account information. They will need to add their own Host Account information before they can set up VILT events in this LearnCenter.
  3. Click Save.
