Adding Prerequisites for an Assignment

You can add prerequisites for assignments. The prerequisites can be other assignments or classes, courses, enrollments, or ILT sessions. You can also set up assignments to auto assign to Users so that they can work on them immediately if the assignments are prerequisites to other learning items Users need to access. On the ControlPanel:

1. Click on the Assignment menu to expand it.
2. Click Assignments.
3. Click to expand the Filters section and search for the assignment you want.
4. Rest your pointer on the assignment, and then click .
5. Click Map Items next to Prerequisites.

6. Select one of the following from the Select drop-down list:

• Assignment - to map an assignment as a prerequisite.
• Class - to map a class as a prerequisite.
• Course - to map a course as a prerequisite.
• Enrollment - to map an enrollment as a prerequisite.
• ILT Session - to indicate you are mapping an ILT session as a prerequisite.

The appropriate selector window opens.

7. Click the option button next to the item you want to map as the prerequisite.
8. Click Return selected.
