Virtual ILT

Virtual ILT (VILT) Events are training sessions or meetings offered virtually instead of in a traditional meeting room or classroom. Training is administered using a third party Internet application and a conference line. LearnCenter integrates with several third party providers to enable you to add, host, attend, and track attendance to VILT sessions directly from LearnCenter. LearnCenter currently integrates with the following providers:

VILT provider services are sold separately from the LearnCenter. Visit a provider's web site for additional information.

As of the date of this publication, WebEx does not currently support the Google Chrome™ browser for their Training Manager. Please check with WebEx for more details on using this browser with their product.

Only branded site licenses are supported by LearnCenter. Pay-per-use licenses will not function properly.

The basic steps to the VILT process are as follows:

  1. Enable Virtual ILT and integrate with your provider. You will only have to do this once when integrating with a new provider.
  2. Add Host Accounts for Admins who will be setting up VILT Events.

Students are added as participants and Admins are added as presenters or as other meeting roles, as determined when the Enrollment was added. See Adding Enrollments for instructions on creating a new Virtual ILT enrollment.
  1. Provide an means for Users to join Events, such as through a dynamic object on a LearnCenter page or a URL in a communication message.
  2. Launch and host, present, or attend Events.

The following User Permissions are required for this feature:
