Virtual ILT User Permissions

You must grant the appropriate Virtual ILT (VILT) User Permissions to the Administrators who are responsible for managing VILT. You can grant all VILT-related permissions by granting the Manage Virtual Events User Permission, or you can grant or deny specific VILT-related sub permissions as needed. On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click on the Users menu to expand it.
  2. Click Users.
  1. Click next to a User.
  2. Click next to Manage Virtual Events to expand the list of permissions.
  3. Click the check box next to a permission to grant it to the User.
    or
    Clear the check box to deny the permission to the User.
  4. Click Save.

Each permission is described below.

Permission

Description

Manage Virtual Events

Grant this permission to any users responsible for managing VILT events.

Add Virtual Events

Enables users to add VILT events. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to add VILT events.

Host Virtual Events

Enables users to host VILT events. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to host VILT events.

Delete Virtual Events

Enables users to delete VILT events. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to delete VILT events.

Virtual Event Settings

Enables users to set up LearnCenter for VILT events. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to set up LearnCenter for VILT events.

View Virtual Events

Enables users to view VILT events. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to view VILT events.

Add Host Account

Enables Admins to add a new Host account on the Virtual ILT Settings page. If you deny this permission, Admins will not see the Add Host button on the Virtual ILT Settings page.

Edit Enrollment Administrator Meeting Role

Enables Admins to edit the Enrollment Administrator Meeting Role field on the Virtual ILT Settings page, and the Add Enrollment and Edit Enrollment pages (when the event type is VILT).

Edit Host Accounts

Enables Admins to edit Host accounts on the Virtual ILT Settings page. If you deny this permission, Admins will not see when they hover over a Host account on the on the Virtual ILT Settings page.

View Host Accounts

Enables Admins to view Host accounts on the Virtual ILT Settings page. If you deny this permission, Admins will not see the Hosts section on this page.
