Close on SCORM API Session Finish applies to SCORM 1.2 and 2004 Courses. The LearnCenter Admin can automatically close the pop-up window that the SCORM content (the SCO) is contained in. This pop-up window is generated when the course is authored to display the course as an external link. A SCO is finished when the SCORM API calls LMSFinish in SCORM 1.2 or calls terminate in SCORM 2004. If this feature is enabled, it closes the external pop-up window when the SCO is finished with the SCORM API. This eliminates the requirement to republish SCORM content using their course authoring tool and re-uploading into their file repository if the LearnCenter Admin decides that they want to have the course exit after the SCORM API is finished. If the course is set to display as embedded, this feature is ignored and does not cause the course player window to close or redirect to the LearnCenter’s home page.
